Sadie was born and raised in Kansas, and now calls the Texas Panhandle home.
While attending Kansas State, she majored in fine art and that’s where her love for metalsmithing began. She’s spent the last decade helping her husband, Rodney, with their cattle company and staying home with their kids. Once the kids started school, she found herself wanting to bring her dream of silversmithing back to life.
Sadie’s goal as an artist is to create heirloom quality jewelry that can be passed down through generations. Those go-to pieces that can be easily styled, whether you’re bouncing around in the feed truck or headed out for a night on the town. She finds inspiration for her jewelry collections through rough landscapes, textures and vibrant colors.
In her free time Sadie enjoys listening to live music, indulging in Mexican food, traveling, cooking and reading. She believes that prime country is the best country, and that you can’t have too many dogs. Most weekends you can find her cheering on their cowkids at junior rodeos, riding horses or roping with her husband.
Sadie does occasionally offer private classes at her home studio and loves helping others towards their dream of becoming makers.
